IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SMALL BUSINESS HEALTH INSURANCE RATES
On April 1, the Massachusetts Division of Insurance (DOI) imposed a fixed rate cap on health insurance premium increases.  The DOI rejected 235 of the 274 rate filings for small business coverage filed by Massachusetts insurance carriers.  Last week it became impossible for brokers to obtain DOI approved rates for their clients. 

We will continue to work closely with BCBS, Tufts Health Plan, Health New England, Fallon Community Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim.
