Kalorie Killer!                                                              Small Group Training Program      $120

Kalorie Killer is a 60 min, calorie blasting circuit workout where you hit every muscle group as you rotate through different stations using a variety of fitness equipment and your own bodyweight.  It's the perfect combination of heart pumping cardio and pure strength training to challenge any fitness level.

Short on time, but still want to see results?
 
These sessions are designed to get as many different muscles moving, in the shortest amount of time, for the greatest calorie burn and muscle conditioning. Workout with me for 30 minutes and then stay afterwards, if you choose, and use my cardio equipment for an additional 30 minutes.

I recently came across a new magazine called "Clean Eating". As the name suggests this magazine is dedicated to recipes and information about foods that are free of chemicals, preservatives, sugar and all that other crap we are finding in our foods today. Currently there are only 6 issues a year, and the May/June edition was just released.
 Check it out - you won't be disappointed!
Exercise of the Month                         Skipping
 
Skipping is an exercise that anyone can do, at anytime, with a little bit of practice. Not only is it a cheap form of exercise (a good rope will only set you back $20) it is also portable (great news with all those summer vacations coming up) and it is one the MOST effective calorie-blasting workouts. Here are the stats on skipping:
 
1) 1 hour of skipping will burn over 1000 calories! Where as one hour of running will burn 400-600 calories.
 
2) Osteoporosis Society recommends 2-5 minutes of skipping a day to help prevent osteoporosis.
 
3) Jumping rope at about 130 revolutions per minute (moderate pace) is similar to running at 6 miles per hour or cycling 12 miles per hour.
 
4) Just 10 minutes of rope skipping is equivalent to a one-mile run.
 
5) When choosing a rope, hold the rope and stand with your feet on the middle. If the length is correct, the handles should just reach your armpits.
