Society Forms New
Musical Alliance with
Music Educator Fraternity
In the spirit of collaboration and cross-pollination between the Society and other relevant musical organizations, we have formed a "Musical Alliance" with Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, the nation's oldest and largest music fraternity.
Phi Mu Alpha has posted this news and information on the Society on their website HERE, including links to our music catalog, our music collection, a link to search for a barbershop chapter, and the video of Ambassadors of Harmony's 2009 "76 Trombones" performance.
The fraternity, formed in 1898, has a mission statement, values and goals that mirror our own, and both organizations will benefit by this alliance. Sinfonia featured a breakout session on barbershop during their convention last summer, where longtime member Manny Lopez led dozens of members in song.

Toronto 2013 International:
A
Convention Like No Other

Come join the barbershop family in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Barbershop Harmony Society June 30 through July 7, 2013 in beautiful Toronto, Ontario!
Enjoy the huge historical artifacts display, to include costumes, trophies and other unique items. Ringmasters and Lemon Squeezy will be coming back from across the pond to help celebrate as well.
While you're there, take in the sights and sounds of Toronto! For instance, the CN Tower, pictured below, was recently nominated one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World, featuring glass floor observation decks (where it is rumored one of our quartets will sing from, but we're not saying yet who these crazy guys are) and a revolving restaurant.
And, if seeing Niagara Falls is on your bucket list, this is the time to make it happen ... it's only an hour and a half away! See Niagara
Falls AND celebrate our 75th! What a combination!
Check out more about Toronto HERE. Register HERE.

Since they hosted this event, this 17-man chorus has been averaging a new member every week, with some weeks seeing multiple visitors.
