On Pointe News

July 14, 2010
2010 - 2011 will mark the 10th anniversary of Collin County Ballet Theatre. To celebrate this coming of age, Collin County Ballet Theatre artistic directors Kirt & Linda Hathaway have planned a season full of performances at the Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts. For the first time, the company will offer a season subscription series with historic, traditional and new works for the audience to enjoy.

10 years ago, Artistic Directors Kirt & Linda Hathaway, founded the Collin County Ballet Theatre with a mission to create a legacy of dance in the the Collin County area  and create a community history of dance. As original charter members of Dallas Ballet, they shared many of the wonderful early years when ballet was a major part of the Dallas art scene. Their thirty years of professional experience including Houston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Colorado Ballet and Ballet de Santiago, bring to Collin County Ballet Theatre the highest level of professional standards in the art of dance.
