Ballet Fete
Collin County Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Kirt Hathaway and Linda Hathaway, will open the 2009-10 performance season with an exciting and fun evening of both new and traditional works with "Ballet Fete" Friday, September 18th, 2009 at 8:00pm at the Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts, Hill Performance Hall.

"Ballet Fete," presented for the second year, is an evening of Dance Celebration featuring new dance works performed by the Collin County Ballet Theatre Youth Ensemble. With a mission of bringing professional dance performances the North Dallas surrounding area, Collin County Ballet Theatre is moving forward to offer a full performance season and expanding the company's community appeal. The performance will feature new and original work "Le Grande Tango" set by Ft. Worth based choreographer Chung-Lin Tseng to Argentine composer Astor Piazzola. This is an abstract and lively ballet with a subtle tango feeling.
