This edition of Foundation Facts is for a single purpose.  It is to let you know about an opportunity on one day only On May 17, your contribution to the Foundation's We the People:  The Citizen and the Constitution program will be eligible to receive a proportional share of the Lincoln Community Foundation's $200,000 challenge match pool!

National Competition       

 

The Bar Foundation is seeking funds to help the We the People students represent our state. Their knowledge of the Constitution is amazing, and their presentation skills are polished. They make Nebraskans proud! Won't you please show your support for these talented and hard-working students and teachers by making a contribution on May 17?

Give to Lincoln Day
Sponsored by Lincoln Community Foundation 

On May 17, the Lincoln community will come together for 24 hours of giving from 12:00am to 11:59pm. Gifts to registered nonprofit organizations may be made online. Gifts will also be accepted in person during regular business hours at the Lincoln Community Foundation, 215 Centennial Mall South.

 

$200,000 Challenge Match  

All donations will be matched with a proportional share of a $200,000 challenge match pool of funds. The challenge fund is provided by the Lincoln Community Foundation and generous partner sponsors.  

 

In addition, the top three organizations that have the greatest number of donors making gifts on May 17th will receive bonus grants of $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 respectively.
