Cinco de Mayo + Kentucky Derby = Cinco de Derby!
Hopefully, you haven't forgotten the date! But just in case you took French in high school (or skipped a couple Spanish classes), this double feature is right around the corner. Come join us Saturday, May 5th, to celebrate Mexican heritage and pride while simultaneously enjoying your favorite thoroughbred horses race in the famous Kentucky Derby.
As always, we strongly encourage your grandest derby hats for this special occasion. Since it's also Cinco de Mayo, feel free to put a spin on a classic design! (Sombrero inspired derby hats, perhaps?)
Get settled in by 1:00 pm for full race coverage, and make an evening out of it! There will be prizes after the race and live entertainment by Blue Machine at 9:30 pm. Of course, we will also be featuring food and drink specials all day, including Mint Juleps in a glass for you to keep!
If you're feeling extra festive, stop in Wednesday for Tacos and Tequila to extend the Cinco de Mayo celebration! See you there!

The Gypsy Dolls - Fri. May 25th
If you haven't seen The Gypsy Dolls yet, we've disowned you as patrons.
Just kidding. Kind of. Luckily for you, they will be gracing the Silky's stage once again with their classic top 40s rock and dance tunes. So whip out the nearest Sharpie and permanently add this date to your calendar, as it's one you will surely not want to miss!
Don't forget, Fridays we have our Baron of Beef food special starting at 4:00pm. So come in early for your FREE hand carved roast beef sandwiches!
