Roses, Sugar, Fiestas and Oranges
This year, two teams that met in the 1948 Sugar Bowl play each other in the BCS National Championship game: Alabama and Texas. Another season of inevitable BCS controversy is linked to this year's championship match-up, as TCU, Cincinnati and Boise State all finished with undefeated records as well. However, each of these teams did earn a spot in the BCS Bowl schedule, which goes as follows: - Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. Oregon (Jan. 1, 2010- 1:30PM)
- Sugar Bowl: Cincinnati vs. Florida (Jan. 1, 2010- 5:30PM)
- Fiesta Bowl: Boise State vs. TCU (Jan. 4, 2010- 5:00PM)
- Orange Bowl: Georgia Tech vs. Iowa (Jan. 5, 2010- 5:00PM)
- BCS National Championship Game: Alabama vs. Texas (Jan. 7, 2010- 5:00PM)
