No joke about it! Here are additional COHE proposals for bargaining. They would allow administration discretion for the possibility of (1) three-year continuing contracts for Librarian and Lecturer ranks after six years of service and (2) a new category of Librarian ranks (Professorial) that would allow tenure-track positions.
