Hi! Just a brief reminder of our upcoming meetings. The meetings this week are restricted to dues-paying COHE members only! Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2:30 p.m., Scobey Hall 305/07 Strategizing Session for Provost Meeting Friday, Feb. 11, 4:00 p.m. Wagner Hall 114. Meeting with Provost. If possible, please arrive early. The refreshments should be there by 3:30 p.m. and may dissappear quickly (i.e., chocolate covered strawberries and gourmet cookies). Next week, we will hold two seminars to assist any faculty member with their PSE and Workload documents: Thursday, Feb. 17, 3:30 p.m. Place: TBA Friday, Feb. 18, 3:30 p.m. Wagner Hall 114
The entire faculty will recieve this latter information shortly. We have assembled information about the changes we see and ways to influence individual and institutional outcomes. I would like to introduce the idea of multiple individual grievances at these meetings, but NOT through a general email message at this time. I anticipate we will offer boilerplate language that any faculty can use to file a grievance regarding the inappropriate use of non-stated standards to assess their performance.
