Dear SDSU-COHE members,

 NEA/SDEA is organizing two membership recruitment workshops on our campus.   This training will be held on September 20 (Monday) and September 21 (Tuesday) from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. here in town (at a place to be determined shortly).    You may attend either or both sessions.   The training will be conducted by two NEA Higher Education staffers (one from the Washington, DC and the other form the St. Paul, MN office) as well as Loren Paul from SDEA in Pierre.  

For your attendance, we will feed you dinner and pay you $50 per session.   You will be asked to commit at least two hours to conduct quality conversations with potential members on our campus.   You must be available for at least one hour on Tuesday (assuming you attend Monday night's training) or Wednesday during the day and another additional hour some other time during the week.  You will also be trained on note-taking and will be required to take notes on your campus recruitment efforts during that week.
