Dear USD-COHE member,
You are cordially invited to attend a COHE meeting on your campus this coming Friday, September 10, 5 p.m. in Muenster University Center, Room 216. I will be meeting with whomever is able to attend to listen to your concerns. Please encourage sympathetic faculty and potential members to attend as well.
Our meeting will follow the P&T Workshop co-hosted by the Office of Academic Affairs and COHE, which begins at 3:30 p.m. in the same room.
Any who are available are invited to grab a bite to eat with me after your Chapter meeting, around 6 p.m. COHE will pay for all who are able to attend. Details are forthcoming from Alan Aldrich.
I also want to pass on a special appreciation to Dr. Bill Sweeney. As you may know, Bill has stepped down from his official duties in COHE. He did a remarkable job of handling multiples responsiblities for USD-COHE for nearly a decade. I commend him for his admirable service.
Other USD faculty are now stepping forward to accept portions of the tasks that Bill handled. For now, I am serving as the primary contact with your administration. However, we are working to identify someone will step forward to serve in this capacity. Basically, this person fields these requests and delegates them to others. I am available to help in this transitory period.
