Instructor Paul K. Canavan, PhD, PT, ATC, CSCS Paul Canavan has been a practicing physical therapist for over 20 years and has worked with many patients with a variety of diagnosis from all age groups. He has also presented nationally and internationally on many subjects related to health care and the prevention of injuries. Paul has also been published in many research journals. He is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He obtained his Bachelors degree from Quinnipiac College, his Masters and PhD from the University of Connecticut and his Doctorate in PT from Northeastern University, College of Graduate and Professional Studies. |

All Orientations are 6-7:30 pm
Cost $10 per youth/parent pair
Class is open to members only. Youth must attend with a parent or guardian (18+)
This Personal Trainer designed and led class allows youth ages 10-13 and their parent or guardian, learn the basics of a safe progressive resistance training program. After completion of this orientation, youth are allowed to take this pre-designed program to the fitness center during youth fitness hours. This class is mandatory for use of the fitness center by this age group.
