Hurricane Irene couldn't stop us
Premier Subaru back to full operations thanks to CL&P
Premier Subaru and Premier Kia would like to thank the employees of Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) in working to restore power to the company's operations. The restoration of power in the Branford, Connecticut area is a daunting job, since almost 100% of the town of Branford was without power after the hurricane.
Hurricane Irene left a path of destruction and devastation, including the loss of life. Premier Subaru and Premier Kia are pleased that all of their employees withstood the storm without injury and, with most suffering only minor damage to their homes.
Power to the company's operation was fully restored by morning on Wednesday, August 31, and the management and staff of Premier Subaru and Premier Kia would like to thank the efforts of the workers of Connecticut Light and Power in working hard to restore our power. We appreciate the demands and difficulty of the job.

New Owner's Clinic
On Tuesday, August 23, we had 31 of our newest Subaru owners attend our New Owner's Clinic. Premier Subaru management and technical staff were on hand to show customers how to maximize the dependability of their new Subarus, including proper maintenance, explanation of Subaru features, and maximizing fuel economy. There were refreshments and door prizes as well, including a $100 gift card, a full vehicle detail, and some gift bags filled with various Subaru items. Here are some pictures from the Clinic:

Artists' Exhibit set for October 2
Award-Winning Shoreline Artists Featured
Don't forget, on Sunday, October 2, from 11 to 4, Premier Subaru is hosting an Award-Winning Shoreline Artists Art Exhibit. All of the artists involved are loyal Subaru owners and would like to display not only their excellent paintings but also show how they use only their Subarus to get from "scene" to "inspirational scene". We will showcase not only the artists' extreme talent when it comes to painting, but also the cavernous cargo areas in their Subarus in which they load up all of their gear. The paintings and many Subarus will be available for purchase! There will also be cider and donuts from our own local Bishop's Orchards, as well as a chance at winning 6 free oil changes. Guilford Fair
September 16-18
The Guilford Fair is a Library of Congress Local Legacy staged by the Guilford Agricultural Society since 1859, when it was started by four town farmers. This year, the tradition continues on the Guilford Fairgrounds from Friday, September 16th to Sunday, September 18, 2011. Headlining musical acts include John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band, Nashville's James Wesley, and Madison's own Nicole Frechette.
Fair highlights include a free family circus featuring The Flying Wallendas, equestrian acrobatics with The Zoppe/Zamperla Riders and David Rosaire's Perky Pekes Dog Show, an antique tractor show, the Two by Two Zoo Pony and camel rides, horse rides, pony rides, a tractor pull and much more.
The Guilford Fair will mark the 10th anniversary of September 11th by honoring community heros.
Premier Subaru will be making its 12th annual appearance at the show with free prizes, giveaways and much more. In addition, Premier Subaru will be featuring a new 2011 Subaru Outback and 2011 Subaru Forester so that interested individuals can come and see the cars up close and personal.

Adorable Adoptable Animals
Our goal is to help local shelters and halfway houses find pets their "forever homes". Each month we feature an animal in need.
This dog reminds me a lot of my dog! Cheech is a 7year old chi-beagle mix that really would do best in an adults only, possibly retired family home. Cheech is a great dog with a wonderful personality, but his person is finding it difficult to keep him as she is now in her 80's.
