Geoff Fox is Premier Subaru's New Spokesperson
Weatherman to lend new perspective to purchasing a Subaru
On May 3, Premier Subaru President Robert Alvine announced that TV weather personality Geoff Fox will be retained as a spokesperson for the dealership. Mr. Fox will appear in a series of broadcast TV, cable, radio, and Internet announcements, as well as appearances at select public events and charitable functions. Mr. Fox has over 25 years of on-air experience, including his recent return to TV on FOX-61 during the 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts.
Mr. Alvine stated, "The Subaru brand has a well earned reputation for exceptional all-wheel performance in all kinds of driving conditions. And given the kind of weather we just experienced, we feel the combination of Subaru performance and Geoff's extensive knowledge of Connecticut weather would make him an ideal spokesperson for Premier Subaru going forward."
Mr. Fox states, "I'm looking forward to bringing what I hope is a unique perspective to the automotive market in general, and to Premier Subaru customers in particular. It's not often that a car comes with its' own weatherman."

Introducing the 2012 Impreza!
Impreza opens amid fanfare at New York Auto Show
 At the New York International Auto Show, one of the biggest debuts is the 2012 Subaru Impreza which is expected to get 36 miles per gallon.
The debut occurred live at 1 p.m. on April 20, and viewers quickly realized that this would be another landmark debut for the Subaru lineup. Most of the buzz in the marketplace has been positive overall in regards to the new vehicle. The New York Times says, "A vehicle like this will sell in even great numbers." Or, as Motor Trend puts it, "Faster, lighter, and with better fuel economy? Consider us Imprezed . . . " More information is available on www.nytimes.com and www.motortrend.com

Adorable Adoptable Animals
This article is to help local shelters and halfway houses find homes for animals in need. This is Harley, a Lab mix puppy born around February 24th. He's only 12 pounds now, but will grow to about 70 pounds at full size. He is in a good foster home where he gets lots of love and play time, as well as socialization with adults, children, other dogs, and cats. He is in the process of being housetrained, is very affectionate, and would like a home where he will get lots of love and play, but also the guidance and patience required of every puppy as they mature. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know about a special project that I myself am working on. I am the committee chairman within the Knights of Columbus Silver City Council #2 in Meriden who is sponsoring a special "Adoption Day" with the Meriden Humane Society.
