Subaru unveils National Spring Car Care Month!
 For April 2011, Subaru has unveiled National Spring Car Care Month. Subaru's theme for this year's program is "MPG: Maintenance Preserves Gas," which underscores the importance of regular vehicle maintenance when it comes to maximizing any vehicle's fuel economy.
Premier Subaru is doing their part by inviting their customers to a FREE maintenance inspection. Bring your Subaru into Premier between April 18th and April 30th, and one of our certified Technicians will check over 50 key maintenance areas and provide you with a complete report on any indicated maintenance or repairs. The inspection takes about 30 minutes and is absolutely free to our customers. Contact our service department by dialing 1(800) 411-4551.
Premier Subaru is also sharing some helpful tips on ways to improve fuel economy, which can be used by any driver, for any vehicle:
- Maintain proper tire pressure
- Replace air filter when dirty
- Use cruise control whenever possible
- Remove excess weight inside vehicle
- Change engine oil and filter when dirty
- Drive sensibly
- Tighten the gas cap
- Avoid excess vehicle idling
"Whatever vehicle you drive, these simple tips will help maximize your fuel economy and save money at the pump, which is especially important now that we're seeing a noticeable increase in gas prices", notes Robert J. Alvine, President of Premier Subaru. "Beyond fuel savings, they'll pay off in other ways, too - you'll increase your vehicle's reliability, you'll reduce the likelihood of costly repairs, and you'll enjoy higher trade-in or resale value down the road."

Adorable Adoptable Animals
This article is to help local shelters and halfway houses find homes for animals in need.
Rocky is friendly, fun and playful pitbull/boxer mix. He is currently fostered with 6 other dogs and 2 cats and does well with everyone. He has asked us for either a canine playmate (the 4 legged friends in his foster home are couch potatoes) or a playful family in his forever home. Rocky learned his obedience commands very quickly and easily and loves to run off leash through the woods sniffing and exploring. He is also a great jogging companion to his foster mom.
