Premier for Charity
Jane Doe No More
        Last year, Jane Doe No More, a non-profit organization designed to aid victims of sexual assault in their recovery, created the first Dr. Henry C Lee Award and Recognition Dinner.  Premier Subaru was proud to be involved in this endeavor last year, and this year, we are participating again.  In fact, Premier Subaru is the Host of the Honored Guest Reception, to take place on March 18, 2011, at the Waterview, in Monroe, Connecticut.  The Dr. Henry C Lee Award will be given out to those individuals or organizations that exemplify Dr. Lee's commitment to finding the truth and improving the way society responds to victims of sexual assault.  For additional information, log on to www.janedoenomore.org

Robert J Alvine named to board of Better Business Bureau

       Premier Subaru is happy to announce that our president/general manager, Robert J Alvine, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut.  The mission of the Better Business Bureau is to promote the highest ethical relationship between businesses and the public through voluntary self-regulation, consumer education, and service excellence.  
 
       An important reason that Mr. Alvine has been selected to the Board of Directors is that Premier Subaru has been an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau for approximately 10 years and has maintained an A+ rating throughout their entire membership.

Our only regret is that we live too far away to use Premier Subaru for its future maintenance, for it is clear that yours is a unique dealership.

        Everyone involved in this purchase -- Stanley, Rich, and Johnny, who since I don't drive, drove behind us in the rental car we had come in so Larry could return it -- made everything enormously easy. We took with us one of your brochures, and tomorrow night we'll give it to friends who have started to think about getting an Outback themselves, and are eager to see ours. I've already told them on the phone that if they do get one, they should not consider doing so from any dealership but yours -- it's worth going to Connecticut for such quality of care during every step of the transaction!

I LOVE MY SUBARU!!!
 
        I blasted my way out of my driveway this morning....and made it to work....passing a truck that was stuck on exit 15 trying to make it up the exit ramp....spinning his wheels....through piles and piles of "plowed" snow, the '09 Subaru Forester, like the Energizer Bunny, just kept rolling and rolling along. I kept using the sport shift just as I would have if I was driving a standard transmission....and I kept rolling along.
 
These are the days the Subaru is made for!!!

          Mike (Manzi) was helpful and friendly.  When the dealership no longer had the specific car I was interested in, he showed me another similar car in the same type make/model.  He explained the vehicle to me in an easy to understand way, as well as the process for purchasing.  He was able to help me purchase my car quickly and allowed me the time to spend speaking with my family members about the car and purchase.

Adorable Adoptable Animals

       This article is to help local shelters and halfway houses find homes for animals in need.  Each month, we feature an animal that needs our help. 
       This month, the Branford Compassion Club would like to announce the opening of their new Feline Rescue and Adoption Center.  The center is located at 2037 Foxon Road in North Branford, and will be host to an Open House on Sunday, Feb. 27th from noon to 4 p.m.  All are invited to tour the facility.
 
 
My name is Mr. Gary and I am a very loving, older male tabby who would love to welcome you at the door when you come home at night and would snuggle up to you on the bed when the day is done. If I say so myself, I have the most beautiful green eyes and I'm a people cat, but I will adjust slowly to other cats. I am a special needs kitty, as I have diabetes and need insulin shots twice a day, but I am very accepting of these shots.
If you have the time to give me some extra love and care, I will reward you with much love and affection. I am neutered and all my routine shots are up-to-date!
