Congratulations to Kathy Zurolo & Family of Milford, Connecticut!

Premier Subaru congratulates Kathy Zurolo and her family, of Milford, Connecticut, on being the Target 10,000 winners!  Premier Subaru conducted a three month long contest to celebrate the sale of our 10,000th car.  The winner would receive a $10,000 purchase credit towards a new or pre-owned car here at Premier Subaru, or a $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond.

Over 1,500 entries were received for the contest.  Premier Subaru engaged the marketing firm of Two Guys In Jackets to independently review the submitted entry form and audit the drawing.  Kathy Zurolo of Milford, Connecticut was selected as the winner and chose the $10,000 vehicle purchase credit.

Subaru breaks all-time sales mark
. . . with TWO full months still on the calendar!

The latest news in the auto industry continues to focus on Subaru in the most positive way.  Subaru of America has just announced that it has already eclipsed all previous sales records with a full two months left in the 2010 calendar year.  This is all the more remarkable given the fact that Subaru has continuously progressed against the significant drop that the industry has suffered over the last two years.

Tim Colbeck, senior vice president of sales said, "These record results and our recent sustained success are due to strong brand fundamentals,  and so we believe we are just getting started.  Our products, dealer network, and brand image are all at best-ever levels.  We are excited about the future for Subaru.

Subaru complimented for safety
Lahood complements Anti-Distracted Driving Ad
Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood wants automakers to do more to warn customers about the dangers of distracted driving. According to The Detroit News, LaHood recently called Subaru of America Chief Operating Officer Tom Doll to praise the Japanese automaker for its recent ad warning against distracted driving. "Their 30-second ad is all about a parent telling their young child, 'Don't use a cell phone and don't text and drive,'" LaHood told The Detroit News Tuesday. He told Doll: "You're stepping up here with really persuading people and you're going to win big accolades for doing that." The ad, titled "Baby Driver," features a father telling a young child not to text or make calls behind the wheel. The ad ends with the youngster, now a teen driver, behind the wheel. "Stay off the freeways - I don't want you going on those yet," the dad says in the ad, which has been viewed nearly 100,000 times on YouTube. "Call me - but not while you're driving." Customer's Corner
Excerpts from Happy Customers!
Smiley Face
We are moving to Florida in two weeks.  One of the few regrets about moving is, how are we going to find a Subaru Dealership to compare with Premier Subaru?  From the minute we entered your showroom in 2003 to choose a car, we have experienced customer service second to none.  All staff is professional, skilled and helpful.  We really appreciated the valet service and the friendly, safe drivers.
Your dealership should be awarded #1 in the Subaru Department!  Only someone with your values, integrity and commitment to superior service could qualify for the reputation given to Premier Subaru.

Once again, Premier Subaru is running a Thanksgiving Food Drive for those neighbors of ours in the New Haven area who would otherwise not have a Thanksgiving meal.  We are also once again partnered with Christian Community Action in New Haven.  CCA has been providing turkeys and all other fixing needed for a home-cooked holiday meal to the poor families, disabled individuals and low-income seniors in New Haven.  The following items are in high demand:

- Bags of rice and beans
- Stuffing, corn bread mix, and pasta
- Canned fish, fruits, meats, and vegetables
- Pasta sauce/gravy
- Potatoes/yams
- Low-sugar cereals/low-sodium soups
- Dessert items - jello, pudding mixes, etc.

Items - in boxes or cans, no glass please - collected will be taken to CCA where they will be sorted, bagged, and distributed, along with the turkeys prior to Thanksgiving.  We thank you very much for all of your assistance in advance.

Any additional questions can be directed to Jeff Irzyk at (203) 643-1215 or CCA at (203) 777-7848.
Adorable Adoptable Animals

Through the Subaru "Share the Love" Campaign, Premier has worked with the ASPCA, an organization that does a tremendous job saving and protecting the lives of many otherwise-homeless dogs, cats and other pets.
Each month, we're featuring an animal that needs some help!  This month we are featuring the  Branford Compassion Club, which helps to rescue unwanted cats.

This is Zoe, a very playful striped calico female approximately 4 years old. She loves playing with anything on a string, anything that rolls, or anything with catnip in it. A few of her other hobbies include lounging around, looking out windows, scratching the scratch box, being a little too curious at times, and snuggling up in bed. She also enjoys being petted or brushed. She is very friendly once she gets to know you and is good with other cats and small dogs, and is O.K. with small children, usually just avoiding them.  Zoe is spayed and has been an indoor cat for most of her life.
