Lease Specials
I wanted to highlight two different vehicles in our lease specials this month.  The first is the 2010 Subaru Outback, which has made history by winning the Motor Trend Sport/Utility of the Year, allowing Subaru to set an unprecedented feat - the first manufacturer to win the same award back to back model years(the Forester won for 2009 model year).  To celebrate, we have exceptional Outback lease offers as low as $295 a month!
We also have special lease offers on the 2010 Subaru Impreza, a Top Safety Pick which provides the best value of any car in its class.  You can get into this vehicle for as little as $189 a month.

Not only can you take advantage of great lease offers at Premier Subaru, but you also take advantage of our Courtesy Loaner Car Program, our Saturday service hours(until 4 p.m.!), and the satisfaction of working with the only Subaru dealer in the state who carries an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.  Contact us at 1(800) 411-4551 for more information.

Used Car Specials!
Premier Subaru logo        Every one of our vehicles has a unique history.  Some vehicles are trade-ins from customers, while others come directly from Subaru of America.  This 1st car is a one-owner lease vehicle; a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i Sedan with 21,000 miles on it.  We have done all of the services here, as the car was bought new here and sold back to us for a new vehicle.

Retail Price: $16,887
Internet Special Price: $15,494!

Premier Subaru logo         This particular vehicle actually made its first home with our very own Courtesy Loaner Car Program.  This 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport includes heated seats, steering wheel audio controls, and the 6-disc in-dash CD changer.  Because it was in our Loaner car fleet, this car was well taken care of by our award-winning, AAA-approved service department.

Retail Price: $21,457
Internet Special Price: $19,536!

Premier Subaru logo         The cleanest cars out there are usually the ones that Bob Alvine himself picks out.  One great example is this 2005 Subaru Baja Turbo.  This is a very rare Black on Black turbo-charged vehicle complete with All Weather Package, Moonroof, and 6-disc in-dash CD Changer.

Retail Price: $19,687
Internet Special Price: $17,580!

These vehicles represent only three of the approximately 60 vehicles currently on our lot.  Plus, we are continuously buying and selling vehicles, so please check on our inventory by dialing 1(800) 411-4551 or by looking at our pre-owned inventory at premiersubaru.com

From New Owner's Clinic
On Tuesday night, November 3, Premier Subaru held a New Owner's Clinic so that all new Subaru owners can get any pressing questions they may have on their new Subarus answered by Dennis Cullen, Service Manager, and members of his award-winning service department.  22 of our new customers attended this event.  Prizes were also awarded: Russell Sage of Wallingford won a free detail, and Ed Klaus of Madison won a $100 Subaru Gift Card.

Service Highlight: The Importance of Tire Maintenance
One of our technicians once told me, "Your tires are the only part of your car that actually touches the ground." That is a very important piece of information.  It made me realize just how important caring for your tires is.

Keep an eye on your tires. Check over them to see if they are low or if they are wearing unevenly. I'd suggest taking a peek at them every time you stop to get gas. Quick and easy!  As you're filling up at the pump, take a slow walk around the car. It takes no time at all.  Look at them from different angles. If your tires seem to be wearing unevenly, this could be due to lack of maintenance.  Keeping up on your regular tire rotations and balances will help assist with better spreading out the wear of your tires. Staying on track with your regular scheduled maintenance is important as well. Uneven tire wear may also indicate that there is a separate issue occurring inside of your car.

For example, pay attention to your steering. If you car is pulling from one side to the other you may want to check your tire pressure to ensure the tires are all set properly. Most of your local service stations will have an air hose accessible to you!  It's important to keep your tire pressures set at the manufacturer's specification so they are at their peak performance.

If you're experiencing a problem with the vehicle's suspension have your technician check your alignment. If there are issues that go unattended there, you may cause further damage to your vehicle in the future. Keeping your vehicle in proper alignment will prevent your wheels from scuffing, dragging or slipping. It reduces strain on suspension components and improves the steering ability. There are three different alignment angles that affect your vehicle so make sure you keep this in check!

All vehicle maintenance is important to perform to keep your car running in tip top shape. Oil changes, fluid checks and the old familiars, etc. Don't forget to maintain your tires along with the internal maintenance!  Remember, your tires are carrying you from point A to B and you want to make sure you're getting there safely. We spend lots of time in our cars so we have to make sure we listen to them and pay attention to the little things that may arise. Remember, if you take care of your car, it will take care of you!

Premier Subaru logoLetters from Happy Customers!

Hello Robert,
I have to tell you I was very pleased and impressed the day I purchased my car.  After everything was signed, check delivered, license plates on my new car . . . you came over personally, shook my hand and, to put the frosting on the cake, you gave me your business card and emphasized that if I had a question or problem to call you.
I want to congratulate you for the concern, care, and pride you take in running your business.  My husband and I have both owned business(es) and appreciate that gesture made on your part.
You obviously know the value of a satisfied customer and it is evident how hard you work (as well as your salespeople) to keep that customer happy.  I am considering driving to Branford(for service) because of the five star treatment I have received from both yourself and Don(Jones) during this exciting time of buying a car.  Again, congratulations on being a proud owner and caring how the customer feels . . . even more importantly after the sale is made and the check is in the bank.  I appreciate and will recommend you to anyone I know looking for a Subaru.  I will buy my next one from your dealership for sure.

- Sue, Milford, CT

I have always been pleased with my Subarus all the way back to my 3 cylinder Justy.  I was very pleased with the old Foresters(four of them) . . . I have found a replacement for my Forester with the 2010 Outback.  There is nothing I like better.  It also has more luxuries than I was used to.  The extras were well worth the additional dollars.  Using cruise control at 60 mph, I got over 32 miles per gallon on a trip to Rhode Island.
I have nothing but praise(for you and your dealership).  Thank you again for arranging the deal.  I live over 100 miles from your location but I know it was worth the ride.

- Ken, Campbell Hall, NY

Thank you Don, for your attentiveness.
Everything is going very well with the car.  Even though the car is not yet broken in, I am very impressed with the gas mileage obtained yesterday.  33.5 miles per gallon on the trip home, primarily highway miles, but I was very satisfied with the result.  I think you can safely tell your prospective buyers that the window sticker is a conservative estimate of your actual mileage.  The ride was very comfortable and quiet as well.  No rattles at all!  Thank you again.

Fill a Forester with Food!

This Paprika Red 2010 Subaru Forester is being filled with food - literally.  The food is donations from customers and employees to benefit Christian Community Action in New Haven.  Sales consultant Jeff Irzyk has been monumental in spurring this incentive.  Anyone with non-perishable food items is encouraging to bring them into our dealership.  Items most needed are:

- Bags of Rice and Beans, Red or Black
- Stuffing, corn bread mix, or pasta
- Canned fish, fruits, meats and vegetables
Premier Subaru logo- Pasta sauce or gravy
- Potatoes or yams
- Low sugar cereals and low sodium soups
- Dessert items such as jello, pudding mixes, etc.

         We appreciate your generosity!

Don't forget to check out our Courtesy Loaner Car Program - we currently have seven current model-year cars that you can use if you are in for a major service or for a major repair.  These vehicles are continuously checked by us to ensure that they provide you with safe transportation.  Also, if you have purchased from us, the use of these cars is absolutely free!  Please ask next time that you are in our service department for more details.
