Lease Specials

Last month, we celebrated the best month of sales for our store since we opened nine years ago. Now to keep the ball rolling, we continue to offer fantastic leasing programs on our all new 2010 Subaru models.

The 2010 Subaru Legacy already has gotten rave reviews, most noticeably for its new continuously variable transmission and 31 miles per gallon EPA highway rating! You can lease a brand new 2010 Legacy 2.5i for as little as $259 a month.

As of the writing of this newsletter, the Senate is working to pass the proposed $2 billion influx to continue the program at least through Labor Day, so Cash for Clunkers is still going on! To review, the following important information is needed for Cash for Clunkers to work for you:

- Your vehicle must be less than 25 years old on the day you trade it in, and must be continuously registered and insured for at least a year prior to that date.
- You must purchase or lease a new vehicle - used cars do not qualify.
- Trade-in vehicles must get 18 or less MPG, although the largest trucks and cargo vans will have different requirements.
- Dealers will apply the credit directly at point of purchase, so no vouchers needed.
- Program will run through November 1 or until funds are exhausted, whichever comes first.
- Since the vehicle you are trading in is required to be destroyed, the law requires the dealer to disclose to you and estimate the "scrap value" of your trade-in.

Trade In and Trade Up for GTP!

For those of you who have cars that are too new for "Cash for Clunkers", I have great news! All owners of 2004 to 2008 Subarus have probably received in the mail the notice for the Perpetual Guaranteed Trade-in Program. Subaru is offering to buy these cars for at least the trade-in value listed in the mailer, as long as the vehicle meets necessary mileage and condition ratings. Also, during the mailer sale, you will also receive $500 in Subaru Reward Dollars!

A car will continue to qualify as long as it is less than six years old(meaning that the warranty date is less than six years ago), but the GTP amounts listed in the mailer are good only through September 30 - so if you are even remotely considering trading up for a new Subaru, now would be the best time. Parts Specials

One of the more overlooked maintenance items in a new vehicle, Subaru or otherwise, is the HEPA Filter. This filter captures mold, bacteria, spores, fungi, nicotine oils, odors, organic, and non organic debris before they enter the passenger cabin. The HEPA Filter should be replaced once a year or every 7,500 miles(more frequently under dusty conditions) to ensure quality air in the passenger compartment and to maintain the filter's dust collection ability.

Dear Bob:

great, but, your Service department has been greater. They are the best I've
