Welcome back, students! And a welcome to Duke's intrepid faculty as well! Since you've all been gone, we've been sitting slack-jawed at our desks, making like a pack of bookselling zombies. But we've awoken and wiped the drool from our chins now, and we're raring to show off all the great books we've got on the shelves.
For those of you who are new to campus, here's a basic rundown:
1) The Gothic Bookshop is an independent, full-service bookshop located in Duke University's Bryan Center.2) We stock books that range from profoundly academic to broadly popular to downright silly.3) We discount all (well, most) of our books: hardcovers are 20% off the retail price, paperbacks are 10% off, and monthly "Staff Picks" titles are 30% off.4) You can special-order any book through the Gothic, and we'll usually have it for you within a week. So come in, meet the Gothic staff, and browse for a while. I'll bet you find a few books to tempt you...
