An introduction to ARLO's programs

Coming soon: ARLO will be introducing a comprehensive set of commercialization assistance programs geared toward entrepreneurs and SMEs. These programs will bring together BCIT's applied research, prototyping, and commercialization capabilities, creating a one stop "total solutions" set of services to assist SMEs and entrepreneurs.
The four Commercialization Assistance Programs (CAPS) are an entrepreneur/SME outreach program, a business/technology assessment program, an action & transformation program and a program to track commercialization outcomes for participants in the programs. More details about these programs will be announced in early fall, 2009. |

Intelligent grid promises multiple

BCIT is developing an intelligent microgrid on the Burnaby Campus with funding from the BC Government's Innovative Clean Energy (ICE) Fund, and sponsorship of BC Hydro and other industry partners. Once complete, the BCIT Microgrid will provide a facility to support research, development, and validation of new energy sector technologies.
