 New -- OLLI Ride-Share
Pilot Program Starting Winter
Thanks to the generosity of OLLI members who attended the recent OLLI Night at the Movies, we will initiate a pilot program of OLLI RIDES, a subsidized ride-share program for OLLI members, starting winter quarter. This service, arranged via an agreement with Cascade Shuttle, will provide users of the program with a reduced cost. It is available to Ashland-based members on days when you are unable to drive, walk or take public transportation to and from class at the SOU Campbell Center. We continue to encourage car pooling, which has the advantage of being free. Expansion of this program to the Medford campus will be considered if this pilot is successful. · The OLLI office will be closed starting on Friday, December 17 and reopening Tuesday, December 28 at 8:30 am.· Save the date for a New Members Reception at the Higher Education Center in Medford on Wednesday, January 26, 2011.
· The next OLLI Community Forum will be a panel discussion titled Performing Arts: the Critical Role of the Audience. It will be held at the HEC in Medford on Monday, February 7, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Details to follow.

OLLI Night at ScienceWorks
It's Never Too Late to Play!
Save the date! The evening of January 29th from 7:00 to 9:00pm has been reserved for a private OLLI members-only night at the ScienceWorks Museum in Ashland. For a donation of $15 you can delight your "inner child." Details will follow when winter classes start.
In the meantime, if you're looking for the perfect holiday gift, ScienceWorks makes it easy. As an OLLI member you can get a $10 discount on any membership for yourself or another, including Grandparent, Friend or Family memberships. The discount applies to new or renewing members.
