 Hosts with the Most
Sign Up for December 9 Party
Hosting is fun! What better way to make that point than to have a party to provide details about this important role and to celebrate those who have served. A pizza lunch will be held Thursday, December 9 from 11:00 to 12:30. To sign up for the party, RSVP to the office by stopping by or phoning 541-552-6048. And whether or not you can make the party, be sure to check the box "I can host", a new feature on the Course Request Form adjacent to each course requested. Hosting is a great way to get to know more OLLI people -- fellow students, our wonderful instructors and administrators. Setting up refreshments and seating arrangements is easy, especially because many others in the class are willing to help. |
OLLI Night at the Movies
Box Office Receipts
The second annual OLLI Night at the Movies was a huge success, both in terms of member enjoyment and monies raised. Thanks to Coming Attractions Theatres for donating the venue and refreshments, to Claire Fincher for providing behind-the-scenes background on the making of the movie, and to all who collectively contributed almost $1,700 for transportation assistance for OLLI members. That's the OLLI brand of social networking!

OLLI on TV
 The OLLI Community Forum in Medford on Monday, October 25 played to a full house. Those who missed Choice and Options When a Cure Is Not Possible can watch the program on RVTV. See "Schedules" at www.roguetv.org for a complete list of dates/times of showings. A DVD of the program will be available through the OLLI office, and a PowerPoint presentation by John Forsyth, MD, one of the three panelists on the program, can be accessed here. Next Forum tentatively scheduled in February. Details to follow.
