OLLI Scholarship FundraiserTickets are now available for a fun way to help OLLI members who need assistance with the annual membership fee. In addition to supporting a good cause and enjoying an evening of fellowship with fellow OLLI members, the suggested donation of $15 or more gets you into a first-run movie on a pioneering aviatrix, popcorn and a small drink. Doors open at 5:50 pm on November 11 and the show starts at 6:15 pm. Event details available here. For more information on OLLI tuition assistance, ask Sally.
Special thanks to Joan Enoch, M.D., who donated the theater-use and refreshments package for 100 people.

November Educational Events
...Community Forum & Lectures
Our Intergenerational Contact Forum was thought-provoking and fun. Don't miss the next Community Forum on Monday, November 16 from 10:00 to noon. Bernie Hartman will be discussing Origin of Species,
Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by means of natural selection. Controversy sparked by this book at its publication 150 years ago continues today. OLLI courses taught by Bernie have often been fully subscribed. Here's your chance to hear him in the spacious environment of the Presentation Hall at the HEC in Medford. Refreshments provided starting at 9:30 am. For more details, click here.
The remaining two Community Lectures this fall include presentations on E. E. Cummings by Marc Ratner on November 4 and How the Allies Won WWII by John Fox on November 11. Click here for details.
