Tickets Available - Act Now
OLLI members and their guests have the opportunity to obtain tickets now for the Vital Issues Forum Sunday, May 3 with Oregon Attorney General John Kroger before they are offered to the general public on April 8. Tickets are free, but are required for admission.
John Kroger's engrossing book Convictions: A Federal Prosecutor's Battle Against Mafia Killers, Drug Kingpins and Enron Thieves has been acclaimed by the likes of Scott Turow, so we expect a capacity crowd of 450 eager to hear more tales from his front row seat in some notorious cases and his vision for the Oregon Department of Justice. Tickets will be available at the OLLI office and the front desk of the Higher Education Center in Medford.
We're excited about this opportunity to serve OLLI members and the community at large through Vital Issues Forums. Please support this major new intiative by attending and bringing a guest. Click here for full details about the event.

Ken Deveney Wins Photo Contest
Photography is one Ken Deveney's many interests. In May, 2008, on an Elderhostel trip to explore the Grand Canyon, Ken captured the otherworldly quality of nearby Antelope Canyon. He later entered the photo in his first ever contest, sponsored by Elderhostel. Much to Ken's surprise and delight, he won first prize. Judging from the exquisite photograph (click here for full size), it probably won't be his last winning photo!.
