Greetings!
We are excited to introduce an additional tool for informing you about OLLI activities and important dates. The new OLLI at SOU Newsflash will remind you of key deadlines, link to news and announcements that you may miss due to absence from OLLI classes in a particular week, and highlight program enhancements.
We hope you'll
find this new communication mechanism useful. To be deleted from the distribution list
at any time, see the instructions at the end.

Vital Issues Forum
Save the Date - May 3
OLLI is introducing Vital Issues Forums, a new educational series as an enhancement to your OLLI membership. These Vital Issues Forums will be focused on topics and challenges facing us today and will feature renowned speakers. We hope to schedule one Vital Issues Forum each quarter.
We are pleased to kick off the first event with the newly elected Oregon Attorney General, John Kroger. His presentation is scheduled the afternoon of Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm. This will be a free, but ticketed event. Kroger is the author of the acclaimed book Convictions: A Prosecutor's Battle Against Mafia Killers, Drug Kingpins and Enron Thieves, so we expect a capacity crowd. Details on ticket availability will follow.
