Happy New Year from the Texas Poison Center Network
Greetings!

Wishing you every happiness this Holiday Season and prosperity in the New Year. Thank you for being supportive of your Texas poison centers. We appreciate your trust in the services we provide and look forward to continuing our relationship in the coming year.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Termination of our old 1-800-POISON-1 Hotline

In February 2011, the Texas Poison Center Network will be discontinuing the old hotline number, 1-800-POISON-1 (1-800-761-7664) without a forwarding message. All callers should instead call the 1-800-222-1222 number that has been used nationwide since 2002.

The transition to the new number has been ongoing for nearly 10 years in an effort to streamline services and provide one poison emergency and information hotline nationwide. In Texas, the new number connects you to one of our six poison centers in Texas so that a caller will never be placed on hold.

The Texas Poison Center Network provides free magnets and telephone stickers for your family members and friends, and their staff encourages everyone to keep this number programmed into your cell phone. Please visit our website to place your order.

Sincerely,

Texas Poison Center Network
