Greetings ,
The summer of 2012 will definitely be a summer to remember. We had a good summer business wise and producing new products. Enclosed are photos of some recently built tables that got a lot of attention at the shows. This month our youngest daughter, Cailey turned 10 and we took a trip to the zoo. Also, we had an exciting write up this month in the very prestigious Western Architecture magazine. Our last show of the summer is Labor Day weekend, we will be in Breckenridge, CO. Hopefully you can make it out to see the art. Then we begin the new year in Dallas at the Safari Club Expo.
Next month we hope to have our new website finished and ready to share with you! |
What do you think of the new slogan?
We have been trying to come up with a slogan for Stone 2 Furniture ® and are wondering what your thoughts are on this:

Cailey Turns 10
Cailey turned 10 in the month of August. As part of her birthday gift we took her to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. In our family we seem to combine business and personal quite often, so on the way to the zoo we delivered a chair to Colorado Springs. Here is a photo of it after we set it up.
This guy thought Dwayne was pretty funny!! |

Dwayne's Artist Statement:
My sculpture is a reflection of my desire to create challenging show-stopping pieces of art. I choose to work with metal because of its durability and longevity. Being able to stop a horse in action, capture and maintain the definition of its muscle structure and strength is my greatest reward. I am challenged by the complexity and beauty of the horse and with each piece I try a more complex stance. I work with stone, steel, copper, stainless steel & aluminum.
Artist Statement
My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty.

Our most recent family picture on the gondola above the Zoo. As summer winds down, we hope you are enjoying the final days. Even though summer will be over soon, we are always taking orders for furniture and work on them as they come in.
We also do tables for indoors. They are the perfect way to spruce up a room. Dwayne loves doing new designs for tables and finds it a great form of creative expression.
Thank you for your support! Let us know if we can be of service.
Happy Labor Day!
Best wishes, Dwayne & Jill
