I don't know what the weather is like at your house, but where we live in Colorado it kind of resembles the arctic. Punxsy Phil got it right at our house, winter is here to stay a little longer. Just down the road about 20 minutes it's beautiful and flowers are starting to peek out of their hiding places.
This leads me to believe that some day soon my rocks will emerge from their hiding places in the snowbank and I will be able to continue building more furniture.
I recently completed a piece named "Phoenix" and we have built more "Wine Buddy" tables which have been flying off the shelf.
I spent the last couple of days packing the truck and trailer and I am now headed off to Carefree, AZ |

Wine Buddy, Beer Buddy or Water Buddy:
 Wine Buddy Green Marble
 Wine Buddy in Idaho Gray
The Wine Buddy table is large enough to accommodate a glass & bottle, 2 glasses or 1 glass and the remote.
The concept behind the Wine Buddy is simple it's a small, light weight table that is easy to move around. Perfect for an area that needs something to accommodate a wine glass, beer or other beverage.
Coffee tables are great, but are not normally within an easy reach. So we have designed the "Wine Buddy". They are attractive and sturdy and can be put wherever one is needed.
Each one is a work of art and one-of-a-kind.
Weighing around 16 lbs and can be shipped easily to your home.

Spring is in the Air:
Springtime is just around the corner. Do you know where your outdoor furniture is? Pretty soon you will be lugging it out from the garage or maybe driving to the storage unit to pick it up. Whatever the situation upon inspection you may discover that it's rusted or broken. The average homeowner replaces their outdoor furniture every five to seven years. This may even be the year that you will need to replace that old worn out patio furniture which can cost between $500 and $2500. Since the average homeowner replaces their furniture 3-5 times in a lifetime that adds up.
Plastics can crack, mold or simply ugly out. Wood will crack and peel and needs yearly maintenance to keep it looking beautiful. Metal will rust. All of these common outdoor furniture varieties take time and effort to maintain not to mention that most cannot withstand the harsh weather winter dishes out. That means that you have to store the furniture somewhere, either in the garage taking up valuable space or even pay for a storage unit. All of this costs time and money.
There is an alternative. When you own Stone Furniture all of this time and effort would not be wasted on maintaining your furniture. You will be enjoying it year round. To get your stone furniture ready for Spring you just brush it off or hit it with the hose. Actually if you had stone furniture you may have been enjoying it all Winter long. It would have been outside enhancing the environment with its beautiful natural aesthetics.
Stone Furniture is an alternative to the other garden variety of outdoor furniture. It is earth friendly, 98% of materials used to make the furniture are natural or recycled. It is friendly on the wallet because it will never have to be replaced, it is a onetime investment. Most of all it enhances any environment that it is placed in and provides lovely comfortable seating all year long. |

Our client in Little Rock, AR sent us photos of her horse, Phoenix. From there I was able to craft his image in steel to capture his spirit.
He is just over 5 feet long.

Dwayne Welding a Table Base |
Here is a clip of Dwayne making a table base and wrapping metal around the legs. Make sure your volume is down :) It's noisy in the shop.
My sculpture is a reflection of my desire to create challenging show-stopping pieces of art. I choose to work with metal because of its durability and longevity. Being able to stop a horse in action, capture and maintain the definition of its muscle structure and strength is my greatest reward. I am challenged by the complexity and beauty of the horse and with each piece I try a more complex stance. I work with stone, steel, copper, stainless steel & aluminum.
Artist Statement
My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty.
