I just looked at the calendar and the first day of spring is only one month away! Now I am feeling anxious and excited as things are going to get busy.
Good thing spring is around the corner!
A couple of new members of the Stone 2 Furniture Family are getting their furniture as I just returned from a great show in Kayenta, Utah.
Kayenta is near St. George on the boarder of Nevada. It's a beautiful location and I I highly recommend taking a trip there. The red rocks and spectacular landscape is amazing.
A lot is going on. We are launching a whole new line of sculpture that will include a new website and more sculpture.
As you may already know, I am working on another horse. If everything goes well and work goes as scheduled, I will be unveiling my newest horse sculpture at the Aspen Eco Festival in April. This will be so exciting to see the 2 horses together in a duel.

A very important note:
To help diminish the strain on our environment by reducing the use of natural resources, our aluminum sets will ONLY be available upon request.
We are going back to the salvaged steel frames for a Earth-friendly approach yet still offering sustainable furniture.
We use miscellaneous farm equipment and auto parts to create a totally green product.
So watch out farmers & auto yards
we will be raiding your junk and giving it new life!
We are currently accepting orders for the aluminum but it may
take 4-6 weeks to complete.

Where To Place Stone Furniture
There are so many ways to use stone furniture the possibilities are endless.
Here are just a few ideas:
Outdoors:
- Outdoors you can define an area around your furniture to create an inviting sitting area.
- Place a bench under a tree or dedicate a bench as a memorial for a loved one. We can attach a plaque with your special words.
- Create a secret garden or sanctuary to escape and relax. Stone has very therapeutic and grounding elements.
- Stone furniture never needs to be fished out of a pond and will always stay in place.
- Stone furniture is great on a deck. It never needs to be moved out of the weather.
- Bar stools are perfect on the deck so you can see over the railing.
Indoors:
- Everyone can use a table indoors: coffee table, end table, hallway table.
- Bar stools can be made to swivel and really spice up an existing bar.
- A desk made of stone makes work more appealing and sends good energy all day.

Dwayne's Bio
As a child Dwayne spent hours cutting and shaping pieces of cardboard paper to create 3D models of motorcycles. Carefully forming each part to fit the bike perfectly and create a replica of an authentic motorcycle. Dwayne's artist talents emerged at a very young age. A self taught artist Dwayne S. Cranford, a Colorado native learned his welding kills in a foundry and took them with him to serve in the United States Army. Later Dwayne spent his days installing natural gas pipeline. On his days off, as a hobby he began applying his welding skills to create steel sculptures. His figurative sculptures are created from materials such as bike chains, concrete nails and scrap steel that had been discarded. 7 years ago he began combining stone with the metal to create durable, weatherproof furniture.
Cranford's work has been shown around Colorado, Nevada, California, Texas, Wyoming and in other parts of the United States. It can be found at The Inn At Aspen, Aspen (CO), The Best Western Pioneer Court, Lusk (WY) and numerous private collections.
Artist Statement
My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty.
