Welcome to all of our new Texas subscribers!
I saw this longhorn bull and had to get a picture, he was huge! I would like to make one like him out of steel. Maybe for my next project....

The Top 10 Reasons To Own Stone Furniture
1. Functional ART. This is not art that hangs on the wall and collects dust! This is a beautiful functional piece of art that you can touch, sit on, make conversation and enjoy the company of good friends.
2. Totally IMPERVIOUS to weather. NO HARSH furniture CLEANERS Protectors REPLACEMENT parts, cushions or covers MAINTENANCE FREE NO WORRIES of deterioration due to wind, sun, fading, hail, peeling, harmful pool chlorine/chemicals, tanning oil, mold or mildew Assembly NOT required Becomes more beautiful with time & age.
3. All Season NATURAL BEAUTY. Enjoy your furniture year round. No lugging in and out of storage! When you are ready to use it, it is there. Anytime you want to use your Stone Furniture, Spring, Fall, Winter and Summer, it is ready and functional.
4. AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE and a great conversational piece. Stone therapy at its best, imagine a beautiful spring day sitting in your stone chair that has been gently warmed by the sun. Soothing tired sore muscles and feeling "grounded". Stone has the ability to retain heat and even hours after the sun has set, the stones are still warm. For warm climates, we have a white marble that reflects the sun and is naturally cool to the touch.
5. Eco Friendly EARTH FRIENDLY sustainable. We collect many of our stones from local quarries and landscape companies right here in Colorado. We transport the stones from the quarry to our shop using a standard pickup truck. Because of the harshness of nature nearly half of consumers expect their outdoor furniture to last only five years or less, according to a 2007 survey by Casual Living Magazine. We have the solution: stone furniture that can't fade, rot, disintegrate or blow away in a storm, includes no toxins, requires no maintenance and can last more than a hundred years because it's made from stone. Stone has been long valued for its strength and longevity. All of this put together helps reduce the carbon footprint of replacing furniture multiple times. This furniture will NEVER see the inside of a landfill.
6. Won't BLOW AWAY! Have you ever had to pick up your plastic chair from the neighbor's yard? That won't happen with stone furniture. Weighing in at an average of 180 lbs per chair, this furniture is not going anywhere. We build it in Colorado with winds averaging 70 miles per hour, and not one has ever budged.
7. STAINLESS STEEL hardware, will never rust. Deep Seating available in RUST-FREE aluminum frames. POWDER COATED finish for durability upon request. We use the highest quality products on the market because we want this to be the last set of outdoor furniture you buy.
. 8. TIMELESS BEAUTY that compliments the surroundings. Unlike plastic furniture, or your typical "cookie cutter furniture", stone furniture will never intrude on the surroundings and not only is it weatherproof, but it integrates easily into landscapes and cityscapes. Stone is one material that has been around since the beginning of time and will always remain timeless.
9. Virtually THEFT PROOF. By the time someone loads this in the back of their truck, your neighbors will be on the phone with the police. If they do take it, they won't get very far!
10. Will Last A LIFETIME and will OUTLAST anything else on the market. There is no test on how long stone furniture will last, but we do know the stones are over 200 million years old. It will most likely out last you, which could make it an heirloom.
*Bonus: Your Neighbors won't have a set just like it! You choose the color and style to create your own unique design. Personalize your furniture to suit the architecture of your home. To order your own customized stone furniture, call us today at 866.407.8991

I took this arrow table to Texas where it found a home in Austin. You can order your own custom arrow table, fit for indoor or outdoor use. The stone is Colorado Buff Flagstone, the natural brown watermarks really make it beautiful. When making a table like this I always look for stones that have a lot of character and are in the shape of an arrowhead. The arrow is one solid piece that actually goes through the stone and the leaf spring frame, into the base that's made of an old plow disc. I sculpt the arrowhead out of steel, each one is special and one-of-a-kind handcrafted in the US. $795.00

Dwayne's Bio
As a child Dwayne spent hours cutting and shaping pieces of cardboard paper to create 3D models of motorcycles. Carefully forming each part to fit the bike perfectly and create a replica of an authentic motorcycle. Dwayne's artist talents emerged at a very young age. A self taught artist Dwayne S. Cranford, a Colorado native learned his welding kills in a foundry and took them with him to serve in the United States Army. Later Dwayne spent his days installing natural gas pipeline. On his days off, as a hobby he began applying his welding skills to create steel sculptures. His figurative sculptures are created from materials such as bike chains, concrete nails and scrap steel that had been discarded. 6 years ago he began combining stone with the metal to create durable, weatherproof furniture.
Cranford's work has been shown around Colorado, Nevada, California, Texas, Wyoming and in other parts of the United States. It can be found at The Inn At Aspen, Aspen (CO), The Best Western Pioneer Court, Lusk (WY) and numerous private collections.
Artist Statement
My rock chairs have been compared to something found on the set of the Flintstones, but great care is given to ensure they are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The stone added to discarded steel results in functional furniture inspired by Mother Nature. They are not only weatherproof, but integrate easily into landscapes and cityscapes without intruding on the surrounding beauty.
