Primary Election August 7 

The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 7. Precinct information can be found on the Clerk's website or you can call Carolyn at 616.844.2101 with questions. The Clerk's Office will be open Saturday, August 4 from 9am to 2pm for absentee ballots.
 

Pump Station Improvements 

Spring Lake Township has been working to upgrade the sewer pump stations in the Township. Work has been progressing and the completion dates are approaching. Pictures of the projects and a progress report have been posted on the Township website. The completion date for the 8 pump stations funded with a State Revolving Fund low interest loan is October 1, and the completion date for the 4 pump stations funded with a federal Economic Development Administration grant is January 31, 2013, but it is anticipated the work will be completed early.

Water Safety Surf Rescue Class August 5 

The Great Lakes Surf Rescue Project's "Water Safety Surf Rescue" class will be held this Sunday, August 5 at 9:30am at the Grand Haven State Park Pavilion.

The class is free and open to the public. To date in 2012, there have been 61 drownings on the Great Lakes. Attendance at this class could save lives.
