The Presidential Primary was held Tuesday, February 28. Unofficial results show that Spring Lake Township had 17% voter turnout. Detailed results can be found on the Ottawa County website. The next election will be a school millage renewal request on May 8.

Ottawa Conservation District Tree Sale The Ottawa Conservation District spring seedling sale is currently taking place. Seedlings and select additional trees can be picked up on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14 at Reender's Blueberry Farm, US31 south of M45. Orders should be returned to the Conservation District office by March 23. Call 616-846-8770 ext. 5. with questions.

Veterans Services
The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners has established a Department of Veterans Affairs. This department can assist with emergency services funding, burial allowance, and Federal VA benefits. The office is located at 12251 James St. in Holland. Their hours are 9am to 4pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
