The Presidential Primary is Tuesday, February 28, The polls will be open from 7am to 8pm. Remember to bring your identification. Because this is a primary election, you will be required to select either a Republican or Democratic ballot.

Assessment Notices
Assessment notices will be mailed to anyone who has a change in their assessed value. The notices will be mailed February 27. If you have any questions, contact the Assessing Department. The Board of Review will meet on March 12 and 13 to hear appeals.

Budget Hearing - 2012/13 Fiscal Year
The Public Hearing for the General Appropriations Act for 2012-13 will be held on March 12, 2012 at 7pm at Spring Lake Township Hall. Detailed budget information will be posted on the Spring Lake Township website by March 1. If you have any questions, contact Township Manager Gordon Gallagher. |

Reminder - Get CPR Certified!
Due to popular demand, Spring Lake Firefighter Thea Dornbush will be teaching the Heartsaver CPE & AED program. This program is designed for anyone with no medical training to learn CPR and how to use an AED. The cost of the course is $35 per student.
Classes will be held
Tuesday, March 6 from 8am to noon or
Thursday, March 8 from 6pm to 10pm

Citizen's Guide to State Government
The Michigan Legislature has published the 2012 Citizen's Guide to State Government. This Guide includes information about citizen participation in the decision-making process. Also included are the names and addresses for State and Federal elected officials.
