Open Permits

If you have a mechanical permit pulled for installation of a furnace, air conditioner or water heater, make sure your contractor calls Michigan Township Services (231.865.6977) for a final inspection. You can also call yourself to schedule. Inspections within 6 months of permit issuance are included in the fee that was paid.

The Township currently has over 100 open permits which have not received their final inspection. If you have had a furnace, air conditioner or water heater installed and don't know the status of your permit, call Connie at 616.842.9270 for information. For your safety, have your inspections done!
