Township elected officals and staff worked together to sponsor a Gleaners Food Truck. The truck we sponsored was assigned to March 19. Many Township representatives were able to help with the food distribution. Thanks to all of them for their assistance!
Census Day
April 1 is the official count day for the 2010 Census. Please make sure you fill out and return your census form. We want all our residents to be counted. It's important to be counted. Many federal programs are funded based on population, and representation in Washington D.C. is determined based on the census count. Make sure you are counted!
Road Information
Road construction is upon us. As we get information it will be posted on the Road Information page on the Township website. New information available now is more detail on the US231 Bypass. Also, the entire length of West Spring Lake Road in the Township is scheduled to be repaved this summer.
With spring coming, remember to clean up after your dog when you are walking on the bike paths and sidewalks. Also, Dumpster Day will be May 15. Watch for more information.
