Census questionnaires will be mailed in March. There are just 10 questions this time. For a preview of the form, visit the Census website.
For your safety, remember that census workers will have identification, and will not be collecting data such as Social Security numbers or bank account data. There also will not be an email portion of the census.
Please be sure to fill out your census form when you receive it. It's important for Township revenue sharing that all our residents are counted.
Last week Grand Rapids had an incident where individuals went to a home and claimed to be from the Water Department. While there have not been any incidents reported in the Township, we wanted to make you aware of the possibility.
All Township DPW workers wear Township-identified clothing and carry Township identification. If you ever have any questions about whether someone is a Township employee, call the receptionist at 842.1340 or Rhonda (DPW Assistant) at 842.0080.
