We're thrilled to have an accomplished Clerk serving the citizens of Spring Lake Township!
checkmarkAre you interested in being appointed to a Board or Commission?

Spring Lake Township is in the enviable position of having so many talented individuals that are willing to serve in various capacities. Many of the individuals that are currently serving have expressed interest in continuing to work for the community; however there may be opportunities to get involved.

Each year the Township Board makes appointments to several of our Citizen Committees.  If you are interested in serving on one of our Boards or Commissions or if you know of someone that is interested, please contact Township Supervisor John Nash (JNash@springlaketwp.org) or Township Clerk Carolyn Boersma (CBoersma@springlaketwp.org).

Bike Path Issues

Please be courteous to your friends and neighbors! bicycle image This winter consider removing the snow from a section of bike path in front of your home.  If you are unable to do this, at least, please remember to refrain from piling snow on the bike path.

Also, remember to pick up after your dog.  We have been receiving a higher number of complaints about people taking their dogs for a walk along the bike path and leaving the dog droppings for the next person to step in.

It is the preference of the Township to educate first and regulate second.  We prefer to remind people what the right thing to do is and if this is not successful, we will issue a citation.

Best Wishes,

Gordon Gallagher
