PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:  There will be installation work to an existing water main on Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. at the Northwest Ottawa Water Filtration Plant.  This work is in conjunction with the Northwest Ottawa Water System (NOWS) plant expansion project.  NOWS officials anticipate a temporary disruption in water supply, once the water is turned back on, there may be a slight discoloration of the water and trapped air in some lines associated with this construction.  You should run water in the bathtub or a utility sink to clear the water. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

All three teams from Grand Haven schools had a successful competition at the Science Olympiad national tournament in Georgia. Grand Haven HS finished 2nd in the nation in their division! White Pines MS finished 7th, and Lakeshore MS finished 10th in the middle school division. Grand Rapids Christian HS was the other Michigan representative at the national tournament and finished 17th among the high schools.
