Spring Cleanup 
 
To help with your spring cleaning, Spring Lake Township is providing some dumpster services.
 
Leaf Dropoff
 
From April 1 to April 25, leaf dropoff will be available at the DPW building on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings. See the flyer for more information.
 
 
Dumpster Day
 
Dumpster Day will be held Saturday, May 9, from 8am to noon. Only one pickup truckoad per person, please. Form more information, see the flyer.
 
 

 
Earth Day Activities

 
Earth Day is April 22. Activities in the Tri-Cities Area celebrating Earth Day will take place on  Saturday, April 18. See the flyers for more information.
 
 
May 5 School Election

The May 5 election is a school election for school board members. All the school districts have milage renewals. Two of the school districts in Spring Lake Township also have bond proposals on the ballot.
 
The last day to register to vote in this eleciton is April 6. If you have any questions, call Carolyn Boersma, Township Clerk, at 844-2101.

Burn Days 

  
Spring Lake Township ordinance allows the burning of nonrotted wood, tree branches and stumps that are out of the ground. Leaves may not be burned. The remaining burn days for 2009 are May 16, July 18, September 19 and November 21. A permit is required.
