Greetings! 
 
Spring is finally here. Read on to find out what Spring Lake Township is doing to help residents with their spring cleaning.
 
Also, remember the Annual Meeting of the electors will take place on March 23 at 6pm. This is a great time to get updated on what is happening in Spring Lake Township or to share your concerns with the Township Board.
 
Leaf Collection 
 

Last fall the snow came much too early, so we have added a spring leaf collection.There will be a dumpster at the DPW Building, 16747 150th Ave. in April to collect bagged leaves. There will be an attendant to help during operating hours,

Wednesdays  12 noon to 5pm
Saturdays     10am to 2pm
 
Dumpster Day 

  
Dumpster Day this year is Saturday, May 9, from 8am to 12 noon. Residents are welcome to bring a pick-up truck load of household junk. 
 
Blue Pipe Replacement 
 
This year the Township water department is again replacing blue pipe service lines. As the construction season gets underway, our contractor, Maulden Construction, will be completing the work that wasn't finished last year. There are about 30 services remaining that need to be replaced, and an additional 30 that need to have restoration work done. This will be done as the weather allows.
