The Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with the Streamliner Diner, Johansson Clark Real Estate and the Closet Transfer to host the August After Hours. need a little bit more elbow room than the BAC gallery offers. Each
Saturday in August we have them working in the parking lot between Eagle
Harbor Books and Heart. Plan on dropping by to enjoy watching and

Cruise In Tues., Aug. 24 & 31, 6-8 PM Everyone
is invited to the weekly Project Backpack Car Cruise In for pizza, fun
and cool cars. Bring a car to show, or just come see them. The Cruise-In
is the single biggest fundraiser for Helpline's Project Backpack, which
raises money to provide kids with school supplies. At the First

Poetry: Antony Yeager - House on the Tide Thurs., Aug. 26, 7:30 PM
Yeager was born in Spain and raised on Bainbridge Island. A certified Waldorf teacher, Antony has taught poetry, drama, photography and Shakespeare, as well as directed school plays. 1st Annual BI Kiwanis Summer Challenge Bike Ride Sat., Aug. 28, 7:30 AM - 4 PM
Roughly the same route as the Chilly Hilly, but backwards. Choose either the 35 mile Summer Challenge or the 13 mile Family Challenge. Ride at your own pace trhough urban, suburban and country roads and stop any time to sightsee. You are on island time. Come for the ride and stay for the weekend.
