Everyone is invited to the weekly Project Backpack Car Cruise In for pizza, fun and cool cars. Bring a car to show, or just come see them. The Cruise-In is the single biggest fundraiser for Helpline's Project Backpack, which raises money to provide kids with school supplies. Yeager was born in Spain and raised on Bainbridge Island. A certified Waldorf teacher, Antony has taught poetry, drama, photography and Shakespeare, as well as directed school plays. Sat., Aug. 28, 7:30 AM - 4 PM

Roughly the same route as the Chilly Hilly, but backwards. Choose either the 35 mile Summer Challenge or the 13 mile Family Challenge. Ride at your own pace trhough urban, suburban and country roads and stop any time to sightsee. You are on island time. Come for the ride and stay for the weekend. End-of-Ride event in Waterfront Park. Proceeds fund youth-oriented charity projects.
