A fun-filled day for families and local residents. Free activities for kids will include face painting, DJ music, bouncy house(s), fire engine and more. Exhibit Opening - Ansel Adams: A Portrait of Manzanar

This new exhibit of world famous photographer Ansel Adams gives a photographic documentary of the Japanese incarcerated at the Manzanar Relocation Center. is invited to the weekly Project Backpack Car Cruise In for pizza, fun

is the single biggest fundraiser for Helpline's Project Backpack, which

"Our Salish Sea" Beach Seining Sat., Aug. 14
Join the Bainbridge Island beach seine team for Saturday events on 8/14, and 8/21. A survey of the catch is conducted to measure and estimate the abundance and distribution of fish populations, after which the catch is released. Beach seining is a great way to learn about the nearshore environment and marine ecology from a hands-on perspective. It's also a lot of fun.
