3rd of July Street Dance and BBQ
Winslow Way converts into a festive party at 5:00, with inflatable games, craft booths, live music, BBQ, and of course, the famous sidewalk chalk. Bainbridge author Rebecca Wells (Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood), reads from her new novel, The Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder, at 7:30 p.m. at Bainbridge Performing Arts. Free, with a portion of the book sale proceeds donated to Helpline House. Bring baby products to help fill a crib in the BPA lobby. Reserved seating available with advance purchase of the new book, for sale beginning July 7 or by pre-order from your favorite West Sound IndieBound bookstore.
