Avoid running appliances during peak hours, typically between 4:00pm - 6:00pm.
Install a 12x12 window fan in your trailer to push the air to the hot side of the trailer.
If you are not planning on being in your trailer during the day, keep your blinds shut or curtains closed to prevent the sun getting in and heating the space. Turn your A/C when you go in at night for about 10 minutes, enough to cool down the walls, then turn it off and turn the fan on.
Wash clothes in the cold water setting and do it at night if possible. Line dry clothes if you can. If you must use the dryer, makes sure it is fully loaded.
Run dishwasher only when it's fully loaded and air dry. Dishwashers actually use less water than washing dishes by hand.
Turn off appliances, lights and equipment when not in use. |
