- March 20, 2009: Planting and Green Tour and Celebration of the Vernal Spring Equinox: Perfect
event to share with your children, grandchildren, scout groups, your
children's classmates, church groups, the budding botanist and earth
friendly enthusiasts. We will take you around the park to show you all
of the Green Features that we have added through the years. Plant
something green in the park for future generations to visit in the years to come.
- April 3, 2009: In Quest for a Healthy Life - experienced workshop leaders will lead a 3-hour class in understanding how the mind controls stress in a positive or negative way and, can ultimately, bring about illnesses, and what you can do to improve the quality of your life today!
- April 4, 2009:
GeoCaching Easter Egg Treasure Hunt - Adults are invited as well as
children. If you don't know what this is, it is a great time to learn.
The participants will be given a list of coordinates to follow, and a
prize will be given to the family or group with the most captured eggs.
