Thanks to many of you, our e-mail distribution list keeps on growing. A kind hearted THANK YOU! Although we have readers from across the Nation and even throughout the entire globe, we thought we'd share some of the gems in the Midwest and particularly 3 well kept secrets in the Wisconsin area. Mary Help of Christians
"As early as 1903, Holy Hill was declared a Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians. In 2006, the Shrine was raised to the status of Minor Basilica. But as far back as the 1700s and perhaps earlier, the American Indians came to Holy Hill because they considered it a sacred place."
