Meets January 29th

Call Anne at 608-231-8006 or email info@badgerchildhoodcancer.org for more information. If you can't attend this meeting but would like to get involved and help make a difference, let us know!

Italian Workmen's Club donates funds to
help kids with cancer
The Italian Workmen's Club of Madison dedicated the proceeds of their 2011 annual golf outing to Badger Childhood Cancer Network through their charitable arm, the Greenbush Heritage Foundation. We are greatly honored to accept this very generous donation! The Italian Workmen's Club's mission is to preserve the memories and heritage of the Greenbush neighborhood in Madison, and to share with the community the values and traditions that made Italians such a special part of American heritage. St. Maria Goretti Giving Tree
makes holidays brighter for area families
Members of St. Maria Goretti Parish purchased and donated nearly 50 gift cards from their Giving Tree in December to provide families of kids on active treatment with gifts, groceries, gas and other household basics. This is a wonderful help for families who have struggled with a lot of expenses this year and who deeply appreciate knowing that there are members of the community keeping them in their hearts and thoughts this holiday season.

We're looking for photos of kids
with their Hero Beads!
Do you have a photo of your child or teen with their Hero Beads? We would like to have more photos to help show what Hero Beads mean to real kids. The photos may be used on our web site, in our brochure or in the newsletter.
If you would like to share your photos showing a young person's cancer journey through their Hero Beads, we'd love to see them and use them to inspire others. Please email your photos and a short note giving us permission to use them to info@badgerchildhoodcancer.org. Postal mail works fine, too. THANK YOU!
