Enter your homemade baked goods in five categories (fruit, cream/specialty and meat pies, plus cakes and cupcakes) for the chance to win great prizes! You can submit entries up until the day of the Bake-Off.

Celebrity judges, including Chicago's Natalie Slater from the 'Bake and Destroy' blog and Stefanie Gaxiola ('Red Velvet Stefanie') from Los Angeles will join local celebs, including Michael Pruett of Johnny Delmonicos, Diana Henry of WKOW Channel 27 and Susan Siman of WISC-TV3.  Emcees for the afternoon events will be John and Tammy from 96.3 Star Country.  Winners are announced starting at 2 pm, followed by an amazing live auction of all the cakes and pies in the contest!  See the schedule of events and download entry forms at the Baking Magic For Kids web site.  We'll have cupcake decorating for the kids and other activities, too.

Parents:  If your childhood cancer patient/survivor and siblings would like to ride on the Capital Candlelighters' float in the Hometown Days parade at noon, please email Anne and I'll supply you with all the details. You bring your hat and sunscreen, Baking Magic will provide the float to ride on and the candy to throw!  Help us raise awareness of childhood cancer!

Check out the photos here!
